What is a Terrarium?

The word terrarium comes from the Latin “terra” meaning “earth” and “arium” meaning “place”. A terrarium is a self-sustaining (or almost self-sustaining) ecosystem in which there is little need for human intervention.

What will you be doing in class?

You will be learning open terrariums, succulents, how to plant them, care for them, and design your very own open terrarium inside a glass bubble!
